One Month @ A Time

I pray this finds you well as we face new challenges in response to Covid19.

ACC, like so many camps, are having to make hard decisions when it comes to their upcoming summer camp season. We all know how important camp ministries are and it hurts to see so many having to close their doors. I’m still hopeful and praying for another outcome.

It has been decided that we will take things One Month @ A Time in hopes that enough mandates lift, the curve bends and we can get back to a sense of normal before the summer camping season comes to an end.

As you know IL has extended it’s stay at home order through the month of May and as a result ACC will be canceling its June events and currently opening again July 1st. As a result our Family Camp is canceled, our Pre-Teen Camp will be rescheduled, likely as a lock-in, and Pre-Teen Campers are welcome to join our Jr. Camp in July. Also, due to the schedule changes there will be no on-line registration this summer. We ask all campers to pay upon arrival and keep a lookout for new registration steps here and on our Facebook page.

We will be following CDC (Center for Disease Control), federal, state and county health department guidelines for best practices on how to combat Covid19 as well as adhering to their recommendations for the summer.

So much as changed and will continue to change as this pandemic continues, but your God has not changed, rest assured in that.

Please know we are here for you and are praying for you. You are welcome to contact us at anytime. I have spoken with a handful of you already and though it’s hard and the distance trying, being with you in this time has brought us closer together and I’m thankful for that. Our conversations has truly brought me joy, I LOVE your messages! Thank you! Continue to be the LIGHT in your home and in your communities, I’m proud of you!

Miss you guys and I hope to see you in July.
